The G7 discussions are over, but the problems and questions discussed by world leaders about the kind of world future generations will inherit remain. We all have a responsibility to reflect on these issues and as an international school, perhaps even more so. With this in mind, Brillantmont students participated in a Sustainable Development Goals Project Challenge.

Brillantmont is one of the only schools in the Lake Geneva area which teaches British A Levels. We are not the new kids on the block! Established in Switzerland in 1882, we have decades of experience in preparing our students for A Level success. Out of all the programmes offered for the 16-18 year old age group, we believe that A Levels is simply the best in terms of how it prepares students for the rigours of university study.

Music has always had a place in Brillantmont life and not just amongst the students as we have many musical staff, who share their passion.

In 8th and 9th Grade, our students have music on their schedules and explore the fundamentals in our well equipped music room, where you can find keyboards, electric guitars, drum sets and several percussion instruments.

Choosing a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you make as a parent. One of the common anxieties for you as a parent is the transition, the wellbeing, and the academic performances of your child. I totally agree. I changed school when I was going to high school, and there were many questions in my head and my parents' heads when I wanted to change into a small international boarding school. I came from a large school and I was always scared to speak up or do anything in public. That is why for high school I decided to choose a small Swiss boarding school.

British A-levels是国际公认的考试，也是受英国国家认可的资格考试。已有超过在125个国家175000多名学生参加这个考试。它已经存在了近70年， 是最古老的资格考试之一。在Brillantmont，我们与Cambridge International Examinations board合作。在《European Unions Lisbon Agreement》规定里，Cambridge International A/AS levels几乎是全世界高等教育的通行证，欧盟内所有大学也接受这些证书作为入学资格。大多数高等教育机构要求至少选择3门课作为考试内容。所以，尽管它们是英国的资格考试，但大多数大学和高等教育机构都承认A level是入学资格。

British A Levels are internationally recognised examinations - they are the national qualifications of the UK. They are taken by over 175 000 students in over 125 countries and are one of the oldest qualifications around, in existence for nearly 70 years. At Brillantmont we work with  Cambridge International Assessment. International agreements between countries consider the Cambridge International A/AS Levels as almost a world passport to higher education since they are accepted as entry qualifications to universities everywhere.

Most higher education institutions require a minimum of 3 subjects, sometimes with specific grades, though some will use a tariff system.

Switzerland is a captivating country for international students and local students, particularly if you plan to stay and pursue your career after graduation. Nestled in the middle of Europe, it is considered one of the safest countries in the world with a great economy, low unemployment rate and high salaries.

Here comes another term at our Swiss boarding school, which means that students are busy preparing and revising for their upcoming official exams.

At Brillantmont International School, we propose several, internationally recognised exams -  British IGCSE and A levels, American SATs, IELTS, and other language exams, such as DELF and DELE. In that way, we are sure to meet the graduation and university requirements, opening doors for our students worldwide. All these  exams are prepared with a lot of attention, guidance, and support from our devoted, experienced teachers. 

This term at Brillantmont, our Grade 8 and Grade 9 students have been taking their coding skills to the next level with some video game creation! Expanding on their knowledge of Python, the students have been designing video games from scratch - taking a little inspiration from some gaming classics, of course!
