Summer school safety in Switzerland

As such, parents of children studying in Switzerland can rest easy, whether their young ones are attending a full academic boarding or day programme, or our well subscribed Summer Course language programme.

Summer school safety at Brillantmont

Many of the staff who look after and teach children on the Summer Course also work during the full academic year, meaning that they have a broad experience dealing with issues relating to the care and well-being of students of all ages.

Our teachers live with the students and help create a harmonious living environment to ensure the well-being and security of all, particularly the younger participants. They also supervise studies and organise evening activities.

Our experienced and enthusiastic team accompanies the students 24 hours a day, never giving them time to get bored, but importantly, ensuring their safety at all times.
Daily life on the Summer Course, including permission to leave the campus, is governed by strict rules that vary according to the age of the students concerned.

A school nurse is available 24h a day and the county hospital is a five minute drive from school in case of any mishaps. We ensure that all the activities offered take place safely and several , such as rock climbing are organized with specialists in addition to our team of staff.

Family spirit and community

At Brillantmont we foster a family environment so that every student is cared for not only by our staff, but with a strong sense of community amongst their fellow students. While our teachers are constantly vigilant, providing round-the-clock supervision, children also take it upon themselves to ensure their safety and to be mindful of others within the Brillantmont campus community and when outside of the school on excursions and other activities.
