One of the common anxieties for you as a parent is the transition, the wellbeing, and the academic performances of your child. I totally agree. I changed school when I was going to high school, and there were many questions in my head and my parents' heads when I wanted to change into a small international boarding school. I came from a large school and I was always scared to speak up or do anything in public. That is why for high school I decided to choose a small Swiss boarding school.   [Read More](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/what-are-the-advantages-of-a-small-international-boarding-school) ## [简析英国A-levels与美国High School Diploma的差异](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/jiǎn-xī-yīngguó-a-levels-yǔ-měiguó-high-school-diploma-de-chāyì) May 6, 2021 | [0 comments](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/jiǎn-xī-yīngguó-a-levels-yǔ-měiguó-high-school-diploma-de-chāyì#comments-listing)| by [Sarah Baker](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/author/sarah-baker) [![Sarah Baker](https://info.brillantmont.ch/hubfs/2020%20-%202021%20School%20Year/BM%202020-21%20Photos%20and%20Videos/2020-21%20Photos/Sarah%20Baker.png "Sarah Baker")](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/author/sarah-baker) [![](https://info.brillantmont.ch/hubfs/2020%20-%202021%20School%20Year/Blog/Sarah-Baker-Brillantmont-International-School-Alumna.jpg) ](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/jiǎn-xī-yīngguó-a-levels-yǔ-měiguó-high-school-diploma-de-chāyì) British A-levels是国际公认的考试，也是受英国国家认可的资格考试。 [Read More](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/jiǎn-xī-yīngguó-a-levels-yǔ-měiguó-high-school-diploma-de-chāyì) ## [What is the difference between the British A Levels and the American High School Diploma?](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/what-is-the-difference-between-the-british-a-levels-and-the-american-high-school-diploma) April 29, 2021 | [0 comments](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/what-is-the-difference-between-the-british-a-levels-and-the-american-high-school-diploma#comments-listing)| by [Sarah Baker](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/author/sarah-baker) [![Sarah Baker](https://info.brillantmont.ch/hubfs/2020%20-%202021%20School%20Year/BM%202020-21%20Photos%20and%20Videos/2020-21%20Photos/Sarah%20Baker.png "Sarah Baker")](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/author/sarah-baker) [![](https://info.brillantmont.ch/hubfs/2020%20-%202021%20School%20Year/Blog/Brillantmont-graduates.jpg) ](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/what-is-the-difference-between-the-british-a-levels-and-the-american-high-school-diploma) British A Levels are internationally recognised examinations - they are the national qualifications of the UK. Our amazing location means we can be in the ski resorts very quickly, enabling our students to hit the slopes every weekend. Despite the pandemic, we've been really lucky as the government allowed ski resorts in Switzerland to stay open as long as they strictly applied measures to protect public health. This has been literally a breath of fresh air for our students. Being able to get out into nature, having fun with friends and breathing the clean, fresh mountain air has given them the invigorating break that they need. They've been able to disconnect from the learning environment and try something different.     [Read More](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/great-ski-week-and-winter-course-experience-for-brillantmont-students) ## [Great speakers at the Brillantmont Young Enterprise Society Club](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/great-speakers-at-the-brillantmont-young-enterprise-society-club) March 5, 2021 | [0 comments](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/great-speakers-at-the-brillantmont-young-enterprise-society-club#comments-listing)| by [Sarah Frei](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/author/sarah-frei) [![Sarah Frei](https://info.brillantmont.ch/hubfs/2022%20-%202023%20School%20Year/Sarah%20Frei%20-%20Brillantmont%20International%20School.jpg "Sarah Frei")](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/author/sarah-frei) [![](https://info.brillantmont.ch/hubfs/2020%20-%202021%20School%20Year/Blog/Brillantmont%20Young%20Enterprise%20Society%20Club.jpg) ](https://info.brillantmont.ch/international-boarding-school-blog/great-speakers-at-the-brillantmont-young-enterprise-society-club) This academic year the advanced Economics and after school Young Enterprise Society Club students have deeply benefited from Brillantmont’s connection with the Zurich based financial and entrepreneurial training institute the [Young Enterprise Society (YES)](https://yes.swiss/).
